Quality Temp Staffing is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Floater to join our team and support our clients in Pasadena, CA. This role is ideal for a dependable and adaptable technologist who enjoys a consistent routine with a bit of variety-or for a newly certified graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in a range of clinical settings. If you enjoy meeting new people, expanding your skills on a variety of equipment, and providing excellent care to both patients and staff-you'll fit right in. We're excited to work with you!

Nuclear Medicine Tech Summary of Job Responsibilities:

• Interview, educate, and ensure patient comfort during imaging procedures.
• Administer radioactive materials, monitor for adverse reactions, and ensure patient safety.
• Operate and calibrate imaging equipment, position patients, and acquire quality images.
• Perform routine tests on imaging equipment and maintain radiation safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including administered doses and imaging protocols.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and infection control measures to ensure a safe environment.
• Stay updated on nuclear medicine advancements and pursue continuing education.
• Ensure adherence to CA DPH regulations, maintain licensures, and participate in required training.

Qualifications:

• Certification from a recognized accrediting body, such as the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (N) OR the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
• CA DPH RT State License
• Venipuncture and Fluoroscopy Certification
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
  
• Must be willing to relocate (out-of-state candidates)
  
• Current CPR Card issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
  
• Must have proof of MMR, Varicella vaccinations or titers.
• Proof of TB/PPD or Chest X-ray within the past 12 Months
• Current Annual Health Clearance
• Reliable source of transportation
• Possible floating between facilities (separate days)
