Position Responsibilities

As a Radiologic Technician (Rad Tech), you will perform imaging procedures to assist in accurate diagnosis while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Key responsibilities include:

• Selecting proper ionizing factors for radiological diagnosis and adjusting kilovoltage and milliamperage to ensure optimal image quality.
• Reviewing and evaluating x-rays, videos, or computer-generated images to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
• Utilizing C-Arm equipment for specialized imaging procedures.
• Collecting X-rays of the chest, limbs, or other body parts as requested by physicians.
• Administering contrast media for gastrointestinal and other special studies.
• Monitoring patient conditions and reactions during procedures and reporting any abnormalities to the physician.

Position Details

• Type: Travel contract (hourly rate includes daily housing and meal stipends).
• Shift: Mid-shift.
• Applicants within 60 miles of the facility are considered locals and are not eligible for stipends.

Gifted Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in radiologic certification and specialty.
• Expertise in Diagnostic Imaging, Fluoroscopy, Diagnostic X-Ray, Sonography, and Radiation Protection.
