Position Overview:
We are seeking a Certified CAT Scan Technologist (CT Tech) with experience in Diagnostic Imaging Radiology to join our travel healthcare team. As a CT Tech, you'll be responsible for operating CAT scan equipment, sending high-quality images to radiologists, and ensuring patient safety and care throughout the imaging process. This is a travel contract position with day shift hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CAT scan equipment to capture diagnostic images for radiologists’ interpretation.
• Set technical parameters based on patient needs and anatomy, ensuring accurate imaging results.
• Position patients safely and effectively for imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff for optimal patient care.
• Ensure radiation protection protocols are followed to maintain patient safety.
• This is a travel assignment that includes housing stipends and meal stipends (for travelers located more than 60 miles from the facility).
• Night shift, 40 hours per week

Gifted Healthcare Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Certified Diagnostic Imaging Radiology Tech or CT Tech in the specialty.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
• Experience with Fluoroscopy, Diagnostic X-Ray, and Sonography is a plus.
• Knowledge of radiation protection and safety standards is essential.
