You would make sure that the daily Imaging operations run smoothly and help your team provide high quality care. Your management skills will help your team grow and allow them to provide excellent service to our patients. The skills you bring to the table will help to make goals a reality, while promoting positive change at ROC. You are essential for the operation of our clinics and provide needed support to providers, staff, and patients, building meaningful relationships along the way.

What would you do as a Imaging Manager?
The Imaging Manager is responsible for ensuring successful day-to-day imaging operations and delivery of high-quality images including managing employees, resolving issues and complaints, monitoring their budget, and ensuring effective patient experience.
You can expect to regularly:
Management
- Assess departments overall function and operations and execute changes as needed to maximize effectiveness and efficiency;
- Monitor, analyze and report on department annual budgets and financial reports;
- Prepare records and reports for leadership as needed;
- Supervise and lead direct reports by motivating, inspiring, and supporting staff to a higher level of engagement, productivity, and quality outcomes;
- Conduct performance reviews, review work and provide training, educational and development opportunities for direct reports;
- Resolve escalated situations as needed including complaints and incident reports from patients, direct reports, and physicians;
- Develop and maintain effective communication within the organization;
- Be a champion and a positive change agent for the organizations mission, vision, guiding principles and initiatives;
- Contribute to the overall success of the clinic through participation in and support of cross-functional activities, communications, processes, policies, protocols, and best practices.
Operational
- Oversee operation of imaging equipment and coordinate preventative maintenance and servicing arrangements with vendors;
- Evaluate accuracy and quality of images, and provide technical assistance;
- Implement and monitor radiation safety measures to ensure safety of patients and staff and compliance with government regulatory requirements;
- Ensure that radiologic safety standards are maintained;
- Maintain the Radiology training program and provide training for technologists as necessary;
- Facilitate equipment repairs or updates to the digital software and maintain CPU storage;
- Manage the maintenance of the patient archiving system (PACS);
- Ensure efficient operation of physicians clinic; understand specialty requirements and clinical settings;
- Follow quality assurance guidelines including positioning, markers, demographics, and coning to ensure optimal images before releasing images to physician;
- Operate radiologic and/or MRI equipment using proper technique for quality images;
- Evaluate imaging for technical quality.
Requirements
- Certifications/Education;
- Radiologic Technologist Certification through American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT);
- Active Nevada state Radiologic Technologist license;
- Knowledge of;
- Radiology safety procedures and protocols;
- HIPAA and OSHA regulations/procedures;
- Experience
- 5 years of experience as a registered technologist in orthopedic setting;
- Using computer systems and applications;
- Communicating effectively with patients, physicians, and other medical staff.
Preferred Qualifications - How can you set yourself apart from other applicants?
- Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration or closely related field;
- MRI Technologist Certification through American Registry of Radiological Technologists;
- MRI and radiology safety procedures and protocols;
- Managing and leading radiological technologists, including planning, organizing and directing work to meet organizational goals in an orthopedic environment.
Travel : May require travel to and from other clinic locations based on manager discretion.
