Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Echo Sonographers to support operations at three locations: Seattle VA Campus, Everett CBOC, and American Lake VA Campus. The main location being 220 Olympia Blvd, Everett, WA 98203. Responsibilities
As an Echo Sonographer Technician, you will perform echocardiogram studies for Veterans at the VA Puget Sound Healthcare System. You will be responsible for conducting various cardiac diagnostic procedures including Echocardiograms, Stress Testing, Treadmill Testing, Bubble Studies, and Definity Studies. This position requires expertise in cardiac imaging and a commitment to providing high-quality care to our Veterans.
Perform cardiac ultrasound examinations including transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and other specialized cardiac imaging studies
Conduct Stress Testing, Treadmill Testing, Bubble Studies, and Definity Studies
Obtain and record patient medical history relevant to the examination
Prepare patients for procedures and explain examination processes
Position patients properly to obtain optimal diagnostic images
Operate GE Ultrasound System equipment and related technology
Perform calculation methods for the delivery of prescribed doses
Document findings and maintain accurate patient records in VA electronic systems
Verify the mathematical accuracy of all calculations using established protocols
Adhere to American Society of Echocardiography standards and guidelines
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all VA privacy protocols
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain technical competency
Comply with all VA policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Qualifications
Ability to successfully undergo a Government sponsored background investigation (US Citizenship Required)
Registration as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Proficiency with GE Ultrasound Systems
Experience performing various cardiac diagnostic procedures including Echocardiograms, Stress Testing, Treadmill Testing, Bubble Studies, and Definity Studies
Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
Experience with electronic medical records systems
All candidates must be able to:
Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
Lift up to 20 lbs
Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
