Nuclear Med Tech - PRN Days

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Performs diagnostic and therapeutic NuclearMedicine and/or Nuclear Cardiology procedures according to allProtocols, Policies and Procedures and adhering to A.L.A.R.A.programs. Performs all quality control procedures in accordancewith manufacturer, state and federalguidelines.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATIONREQUIRED:
Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine programaccredited by either the Joint Review Committee on EducationPrograms in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) or the NuclearMedicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).

MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:
None

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONREQUIRED BY LAW:
Registered nuclear technologistwith either the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist(Nuclear) ARRT (N) or the Nuclear Medicine TechnologistCertification Board(NMTCB-CNMT).

ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS:
BLS Certified. Possesses athorough knowledge of radiation safety guidelines andradiopharmaceuticals as needed to perform and process NuclearMedicine examinations.
