Valley Radiology Consultants has been serving the North County San Diego area since 1971 at our clinics in Poway and Escondido. We are a physician owned imaging center, providing our patients with a full range of imaging services.

We want you to join our Mammography Technologist team. We are hiring qualified technologists in Full-Time, Part-Time and Per Diem schedules. Our ideal candidate is willing to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities:

The Mammography Technologist's primary role is caring for our patients by performing screening and diagnostic breast imaging, as well as assisting in interventional breast procedures. You will be responsible for calibrating and operating diagnostic equipment, and will work directly with the on-site Physicians. As part of the Valley Radiology team, you will work within safety standards and regulatory requirements, and also participate in quality control (QC) and continuing medical education (CME).

Education & Licensure Requirements:

• Completion of a formal training program for Radiology and Mammography Technology
• Current California licensure for Mammography (CRT-M)
• Current ARRT "R"
• Solid understanding of ACR and MQSA regulations
• BLS certification
• Current CPR certification

Work Experience:

• Minimum six months of experience in performing mammography as directed by radiologists is desired
• Mammography and X-ray experience with proven competence in an outpatient Radiology clinical setting preferred
• General knowledge of information technology (PACS / RIS).
• Leadership skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem
