RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Radiologic Technologist to join our team!

This is a 36 hour per week schedule, working Monday 8-4:30pm, Wednesday- Friday 8-4:30pm and Saturdays 8a-12pm. No on call requirement! We offer Daily Pay!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Screens, explains and prepares patients for Radiologic imaging procedures that will be performed, checking for precautions/contradictions pertaining to examination
  • Performs Radiologic imaging procedures on designated area of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing/treating of patient illness and/or injury
  • Adjusts Radiologic scan parameters, utilizing dose reduction techniques as appropriate
  • Follows physicians' orders precisely and conforms to safety regulations
  • Accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS)
  • Maintains an orderly and clean work area
  • Clean and disinfect equipment after each use
  • Works with a Fluoroscopy C-Arm
  • Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary
