Radiology Technologist-Lead

Job Requisition: REQ3453 Employment Type: Full-time Shift: Days Hours Per Week: 40 hour/week Hiring Range $31.39 - $41.99 The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. + Responsibilities: + Ensures quality in imaging, patient care and workflow. Monitors patient documentation for timely completion accuracy. + Oversees quality control testing, equipment maintenance and trouble shooting. + Serves as a resource to department staff as well as other members of the team as needed. + Performs staff orientation, training, and coaching. Provides input to staff performance evaluations. + Is an essential member of the high reliability team. Oversees appropriateness and accuracy in patient care. + Positions patient and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately + Ensures all documentation complies with regulatory agency standards. + Assists in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, and any other areas in department. + Required Credential(s): + BLS Provider obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. + One or more of the following: + Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. + Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. + Medical Sonographer credentialed form the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. + Education: High school diploma/GED required Must be able to speak, read, write and follow instructions in English.
