Job Description
If you are passionate about diagnostic technology, join us as a Radiology Technologist - EEG/EKG Tech . In this role, you will conduct electroencephalogram (EEG) and electrocardiogram (EKG) tests to monitor brain activity and heart function, providing critical data for patient care decisions.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform EEG tests to monitor brain activity and detect neurological conditions such as epilepsy or brain injuries.
- Conduct EKG tests to measure electrical activity in the heart, identifying irregularities such as arrhythmias or heart disease.
- Prepare patients for tests by explaining procedures, attaching electrodes, and ensuring their comfort during testing.
- Operate and maintain EEG/EKG equipment to ensure accurate results and proper functionality.
- Document test findings accurately and collaborate with physicians for diagnosis and treatment planning.
- The role is based in hospitals, outpatient clinics, or diagnostic labs equipped with specialized EEG/EKG technology.
- This position requires attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills when working with patients of all ages.
