SUMMARY:
Effectively perform multiple diagnostic tests and assist ophthalmic photography department with other related duties.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Completion of Ultrasonography Program preferred
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Preferred candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience
Good analytical, organizational, time management and communications skills
Ability to accurately perform multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to assist patient with limited mobility from wheelchair to exam chair.
JOB DUTIES:
Perform ultrasounds (A and B Scans) and tomography (OCTs) and ERGs.
Transport A-Scan equipment to Surgery Center or Hospital when needed.
Perform biometry on pre-op patients
Perform administrative tasks as needed.
