Interventional Radiology Technologist
We are currently seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist in our Special Procedures department. You will operate medical diagnostic imaging equipment and assist in imaging procedures such as angiography and cardiac catheterization (CC), as well as those performed in the Interventional Radiology (IR) Lab (scrubbing, circulating, and recording/monitoring patient status).

Responsibilities may include:
- Performing invasive diagnostic procedures which require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative with little supervision of technical details
- Assumes responsibility for designated area and the accomplishment of procedures as specified under the direction of a specialized physician
- Perming diagnostic procedures requiring sound understanding of anatomical position in and physiology so that independent selection and modification of technical factors may produce optimal results
- Directly responsible for maintaining equipment and supply inventory in the Special Procedures Suite
- Ability to operate all types of general radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment in the x-ray department, special procedures suite and OR
- Responsible for call as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT)
Current ARRT credential
Minimum of two (2) years licensed experience in Radiology to include at least one (1) year of IR experience
BLS required
