The Union Hospital Radiology Department is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Flex Radiologic Technologist to work the day/evening shift.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment

• Developing and identifying radiographs; which includes proper identification of film, date and time

• Performing clerical duties when necessary: receptionist and scheduling duties, completes forms on clinical, etc. and various filing duties

• Covering the Emergency Department (ED) OR, Surgi center, Portables, Fluoro

• Assisting with the training of radiology technology students

• Using and performing QC on PACS, Computed Radiography, and/or Digital Radiography Systems

• Operating the following equipment: Seimans, Phillips, and Ziehm

• Burn patient CD's

Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Radiology Science

• RT Technologist experience preferred

• ARRT Registered Technologist required

• Maryland license

• Certification in CPR

• Flexibility in hours and duties is required

Schedule: Mid shift (rotating day/evening) 12-hour shifts including weekend rotation. This position is a FT FLEX position 36 hours weekly.
