Nuclear Medicine Technologist Jobs in Oklahoma
A Nuclear Medicine Technologist plays an integral role in the radiology field. These images help physicians and radiologists diagnose and manage various medical conditions. This involves positioning patients for procedures, monitoring their condition during the process, and ensuring their safety. Important skills for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist include attention to detail, technical skills, physical stamina, and good interpersonal skills. They must have a strong understanding of radiation physics, computer technology, and chemistry. A certification from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is typically required.
