Full Job Description
Reputable and fast paced Cardiology practice looking for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform cardiac studies and all associated duties, under the direct supervision of the on-site physician(s).

The fundamental duties include IV catheters for isotope and pharmacological stress agent injection; order, administer and record isotope dosages in accordance with established departmental/state/NRC protocols; manage daily patient schedule and workflow; operate and perform all QC associated with SPECT imaging camera according to established protocols; analyze and edit cardiac imaging studies and present to physicians for review.

Must be proficient with placing IV catheters, working independently, perform QC checks and camera calibrations required by NRC/State documentation. Responsible for Radiation Safety, including but not limited to maintaining records, conducting daily surveys of hot lab, exam room, camera and personnel, coordination of film badges, managing audits and assisting the RSO as necessary

No evenings or weekends
Must be New York State Licensed Nuclear Medicine Technologist, new graduates have 3 months to satisfy this requirement
ARRT and/or CNMT required
BLS required
